Very welcome page COMMITTEE OF BARIATRIC SURGERY AND METABOLIC of BOLIVIANA SOCIETY OF SURGERY.
Since its inception nearly a decade ago, This Committee, as part of our Bolivian Society of Surgery, He has worked hard and very effective in developing, education and treatment known as "the epidemic of the century": OBESITY.
It brings together not only to surgeons, but also endocrinologist, psychologists, Psychiatrists, Nutritionists, Cardiologists, anesthesiologists, among other professional groups that deal with the management of this complex pathology. We are part of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic (IFSO) through its Latin American chapter.
Our goal is to reach professionally and efficiently, both professionals who have an interest in this area of medicine, and patients requiring treatment due to overweight.
Hope this will be a window to spread knowledge and advances in the management of Obesity, and invite them to actively participate in enrichment:
